2009 looks like it’s due to be just as good as 2008. We will be looking to start heading outdoors as soon as the weather starts warming up.

There is a big emphasis this year in Training Company of doing more outdoor exercises. This will include a lot of what they learn in lesson at HQ.

May I also take this opportunity to remind you that Subs are paid quarterly, and these are very important to us as these funds are used to run the Corps. Should we not receive these funds it is likely that the Corps would not be able to exist.

I would also like to find out if any parents have any objections of us taking photos throughout the year of children so that we can start creating a Training Company album which can be taken the recruitment events. This will help build the number in the corps showing the public what we do.

Please also find attached the schedule for January, February, and March. Please be aware that there may changes to the schedule and these will be notified to you at the earliest opportunity.

Also attached, is a kit list which I would like Parents, and Cadets to take note of. It outlines what I expect, the cadets to be wearing, especially best kit, and combats (indoors). I feel it is important in the learning to be disciplined enough to be able to comply with these dress regulation.
